What happens to lehengas, jeans, shirts, bikinis after shooting in films? who wears them

You must have seen in films that actors and actresses wear different types of clothes. Sometimes it happens that many clothes are changed in one song. It is said that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan wore 125 clothes in the film Action Replayy. Now Kareena Kapoor Khan is also not behind in this matter, she wore 130 types of clothes in the film Heroine. Don’t know how many cupboards of the house will be filled with so many clothes. Now the question becomes what happens to the actors and actresses who wear these clothes after the shooting of the film is over?

Actually, none of the clothes that actors and actresses wear have a fixed method. On completion of shooting with all the clothes, work is done in different ways. Let’s understand these methods..

reuse

After the completion of the shooting of the film, the clothes of the actor and actress are returned to the production house several times. The production houses reuse the clothes after making minor changes. Sometimes changes are also made regarding the matching of clothes. By the way, mostly these clothes are used by junior artists only. Stars are not made to wear these clothes. According to information, the dress worn by Aishwarya Rai in the film Bunty Aur Babli was worn by an artist after 5 years in Band Baaja Baaraat in 2010, but the matching of choli and ghagra was changed. >

actors and actresses carry clothes with them

We just learned that after the completion of the shooting, the clothes are returned to the production house, but sometimes actors and actresses take these clothes or any accessories with them. According to information, Deepika Padukone had kept the glasses of Naina’s character in the film Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani.

Auctions also happen

After the completion of the shooting, when the look of the actor and actress becomes viral or famous, many times the clothes are auctioned. According to the information, the towel used by Salman Khan in the song ‘Jeene Ke Hai Chaar Din’ in the movie ‘Mujhse Shaadi Karige’ was auctioned and the towels were bought by someone for one lakh 42 thousand rupees.

Clothes come in the deal

When there is a wedding or a big function in films, clothes are ordered from a dealer and after the completion of the work, the production house returns those clothes. The dealers then sell them elsewhere.
